Katsuki still doesn’t have an official hero name. I know most fanworks uses the names Ground Zero, Dynamite, or Explodo but what if he’s still empty-handed for a hero name that is appropriate and he likes?

Insert Izuku.

Imagine the both of them being paired for a mission while interning in their third year and since Katsuki still doesn’t have a name, Izuku just calls him ‘Kacchan’. Then, that name sticks to the public.

Imagine Katsuki going to a hero licence office or something after he graduates and the person who assists him is like ‘Oh! You’re Kacchan, right? I watched your mission with Deku! Alright, I just need to take your fingerprints and a photo of you—‘ and Katsuki is too confused to correct them and now, he’s registered as ‘Kacchan’.

Imagine Katsuki applying to become a sidekick to a successful pro hero and the pro hero goes ‘Ah, Kacchan. I watched you in the sport festivals and your internship. I’m glad an incredible individual like you chose my agency.’ and Katsuki doesn’t know how to tell them without being disrespectful that his registered hero name is a mistake.

Imagine little kids pointing at him as he walks on streets, on and off duty, tugging at their parents as they say ‘Look, it’s Kacchan!’

Imagine villains mocking ‘Kacchan’ before being promptly sent flying by Katsuki.

Imagine his former classmates snickering every time they have to use his hero name and Deku just gives him a look and Katsuki doesn’t even protest anymore. He’s done™.
